About Yateley Manor
Yateley Manor School is an independent preparatory day school for boys and girls aged between two and thirteen, set within 12 acres of grounds in north-east Hampshire. Founded in 1947, the school became a charitable trust with a board of governors in 1970. It is organised into a pre-prep section and a prep section, with Early Years provision that includes a Nursery for children from the age of two and a Reception class, each with their own dedicated outdoor learning areas. The school aims to nurture each child's unique talents through strong relationships and a family atmosphere, supporting pupils on an educational journey towards academic achievement. Pupils come from a range of professional and business backgrounds, generally living within a 10-mile radius of the school. The school welcomes pupils of varying needs and abilities. It supports a number of pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, including dyslexia and autistic spectrum disorder, with some receiving additional specialist support. A number of pupils speak English as an additional language, and the curriculum is adapted for those with particular gifts or talents.
