About Vita Et Pax School
Vita et Pax Preparatory School is a co-educational day school welcoming pupils aged between 3 and 11 years. Founded in 1936 by Benedictine Olivetian sisters, the school moved to its current site in 1966 and holds charitable status, being governed by a council of management. The school comprises an infants department, which includes the Early Years Foundation Stage, and a junior department. The school aims to deliver a child-centred approach within a supportive environment that nurtures the unique character of each pupil. It works in close partnership with parents to ensure that children are safe, academically confident, and well cared for physically, socially, and emotionally. Pupils come from predominantly professional and small business families, representing a range of ethnic backgrounds and a corresponding diversity of faiths and denominations. The school supports pupils with a variety of needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, within the classroom and beyond, and adapts the curriculum for its most able pupils.
