About Keble Prep School
Founded in 1929, Keble Preparatory School is an independent day school for boys aged between 4 and 13 years. Run as a registered charity administered by a board of governors, the school is organised into three sections: a pre-prep covering Reception to Year 2, a junior school for Years 3 and 4, and a senior school for Years 5 to 8, each housed in separate buildings. New facilities added since the previous inspection include a music block, a multi-use games area, and an EYFS outdoor area. The school aims to support its pupils in upholding its values of puritas (purity), veritas (truth) and probitas (honesty), and in developing the personal attitudes, characteristics and self-belief needed to become lifelong learners ready to tackle future challenges. It seeks to celebrate diversity, promote equality and recognise every pupil as an individual. Pupils who join the school tend to have above-average ability compared to national benchmarks. The school supports a range of pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, as well as pupils for whom English is an additional language, with additional support provided both in the classroom and on an individual basis. Provision is also adapted for the most able pupils within the school.
