About The Ryleys School

The Ryleys School is a co-educational preparatory school welcoming pupils from one to eleven years of age. Run as a charitable trust with a governing body, the school is organised across three departments: an early years unit, pre-prep, and prep. The nursery was expanded in 2019 to welcome children from the age of one. The school aims to provide an outstanding education and opportunities that inspire pupils and nurture individual talents in an environment that celebrates diversity. At the heart of school life are four core values: be curious, be tolerant, be respectful, and be yourself. Pupils come from a range of professional backgrounds, mostly from Alderley Edge and the surrounding towns. The school supports pupils with a variety of additional needs, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those for whom English is an additional language, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive.
