About The Granville School
The Granville School is a preparatory day school for girls aged three to eleven and for boys aged three to four, located in Sevenoaks. Founded in 1945 and settled on its current site since 1957, the school is today run as a charitable trust with a board of governors. A new building housing art, design and the Early Years Foundation Stage has recently been opened on site. The school aims to set high academic and pastoral standards, providing a broad and stimulating curriculum that encourages pupils to develop a genuine love of learning. At the heart of everything is a commitment to identifying and nurturing the individual potential and natural talents of every child, within a happy and caring environment. Pupils come mostly from the local area and reflect a range of backgrounds. The school is attentive to the needs of all its learners, offering additional specialist support where needed and adapting its curriculum for those with particular strengths in areas such as sport, music, art, design and drama.
