About ICS London
The International Community School is an independent co-educational day school located across two sites in central London. It specialises in the International Baccalaureate programmes and caters for pupils aged three to nineteen years, with a primary school for pupils aged three to ten and a secondary school for pupils aged eleven to nineteen. Founded in 1979, the school has been owned by Globeducate since 2017, and an advisory board provides local support. The school aims to promote the values of freedom, internationalism, democracy, respect, and the rule of law. It seeks to encourage pupils to think for themselves and to apply different methods of learning and inquiry within a supportive yet challenging environment, so that each pupil leaves equipped with the knowledge, skills, and empathy to be successful in their future lives and careers. The school's pupils represent over 65 nationalities, with families from a range of backgrounds including diplomatic and business communities. The school supports pupils with a variety of needs, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those for whom English is an additional language, ensuring that additional support is available to those who need it.
