About High March School
High March School, founded in 1926, is an independent school welcoming girls aged 3 to 11 and boys aged 3 to 4. The school has been in the care of the same family for over seventy years and is currently led by two directors who are grandchildren of a former headmaster and headmistress, whose combined headships spanned more than sixty years. The directors are supported by a board of governors. The school is organised into two sections: Junior House for pupils aged 3 to 7, and the Senior School for those aged 7 to 11. It draws its pupils mainly from Beaconsfield and the surrounding villages. High March aims to nurture talent and achievement across all areas of school life, helping pupils to develop self-esteem and a genuine love of learning. The school supports pupils with a range of needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, those for whom English is an additional language, and those identified as more able, through the curriculum, specialist support, extra-curricular activities, and scholarship classes.
