About Heath House Preparatory School

Heath House Preparatory School is an independent co-educational day school nestled in Blackheath Village, South East London. Founded in 1993 by its current proprietors, the school is spread across three buildings in close proximity and caters for children from Kindergarten through to Year 6, with dedicated sections for Early Years, Pre-Prep, and Prep. The school places great importance on nurturing each child as an individual, striving to instil values such as resilience, kindness, good manners, responsibility, respect, confidence, and tolerance alongside a commitment to British values. The aim is for every pupil to reach their academic potential whilst genuinely enjoying their learning along the way. Most pupils come from families in the surrounding area, and the curriculum is thoughtfully adapted for every child through individual education plans, with additional support or extension provided to suit each pupil's needs and abilities.
