About Woodford Green Preparatory School
Woodford Green Preparatory School is an independent, co-educational day school located in the London Borough of Redbridge. Founded in 1932 and settled on its current site since 1935, the school is a registered charity governed by a board of governors who also serve as trustees. It welcomes pupils from Early Years Foundation Stage through to Year 6, with the school thoughtfully structured into three sections to suit each stage of a child's development. The school aims to be a place where every pupil is nurtured, encouraged to be curious, and supported to achieve their very best. It seeks to inspire a genuine love of learning and to foster the full development of each child within a warm and supportive environment that values individual thinking and learning. Most pupils live within a five-mile radius of the school. The school identifies and supports pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, and also welcomes pupils for whom English is an additional language. Where pupils are identified as the most able within the school community, the curriculum is adapted to support them accordingly.
