About Snaresbrook Preparatory School

Snaresbrook Preparatory School is a co-educational day school welcoming children from the age of 3 through to 11. Founded in the early 1930s, the school is housed in a Victorian building in an urban area of outer London, and has been run by the same family for over 50 years. The school aims to develop the whole child through a relevant and contemporary education, encouraging pupils to research, enquire and grow in self-discipline within a Christian environment. Pupils come from a range of professional and business backgrounds and typically travel from within a 15-mile radius of the school. The school supports pupils with a variety of needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities and those for whom English is an additional language, ensuring every child receives the help they need to thrive. More able pupils are also catered for within the curriculum, as are those with particular talents in sport and music.
