The Manor Preparatory School is an independent day school welcoming boys aged 2 to 7 and girls aged 2 to 11. Founded in 1907, the school originally served as a preparatory school for a local girls' senior school, before moving to its current site in 1947 and becoming fully independent in 1970. It is run as a charitable trust, overseen by a board of governors. The school aims to foster a genuine love of learning, encouraging every pupil to make the most of their abilities and opportunities. Each child is cherished as an individual within a happy, caring, and purposeful environment, with an emphasis on self-worth, responsibility towards others, and a positive contribution to the school community.
