About The Mall School
The Mall School is a day preparatory school for boys, located in Twickenham. Founded in 1872, the school moved to its current site in 1909 and is run as an independent charitable trust administered by a board of governors. Reception and Year 1 are now based on the main school site, and pupils leave at the age of 11. The school's aim is to bring out the best in every boy, helping pupils to become confident, independent, and well-rounded young men who are ready for the next stage of their education. The school also seeks to nurture consideration for others and an intellectual curiosity about the world around them. Pupils come from families with a wide variety of social, professional, and cultural backgrounds. The school supports pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, including dyslexia, dyspraxia, and speech and language difficulties, and provides additional English support for those who need it.
