About Newland House School

Newland House School is a co-educational independent day school welcoming pupils aged 3 to 13, set across two properties on approximately five acres in a residential area of Twickenham. Founded in 1879, the school moved to its current location in the 1930s and has been a registered charitable trust since 1971. The school is organised into three sections: a Nursery for children aged 3 to 4, a Pre-Prep for those aged 4 to 7, and a Prep for pupils aged 8 to 13. The school aims to promote enquiring minds and to build on each pupil's strengths, interests, and experiences, encouraging them to question the world around them and discover their own passions. Most pupils live within a two-mile radius of the school and come from a range of professional and business backgrounds. The school supports pupils with a variety of needs, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, pupils with English as an additional language, and those identified as more able, with some older pupils supported through a scholarship programme.
