About Tettenhall College
Tettenhall College Incorporated is a co-educational day and boarding school welcoming pupils from the age of 2 through to 18. Founded in 1863 originally as a boys' school, it became fully co-educational in 1982 and is today run as a charitable trust overseen by a council of governors. The school spans a prep school, which includes an Early Years Foundation Stage setting, through to a senior school with a sixth form. Boarding is available for pupils aged ten to eighteen, with separate houses for female and male boarders. The school's mission is to nurture every pupil, both day and boarding, so that they can realise their potential, discover their unique talents, and grow into happy, confident individuals ready to embrace challenge and contribute as global citizens. Pupils come from a range of professional family backgrounds. The school supports those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, pupils for whom English is an additional language, and those identified as the most able, with the curriculum adapted accordingly to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.
