St David's Prep School is an independent day school welcoming boys and girls aged 3 to 11. Founded in 1926, the school has a long-established history and has been part of the Wishford Schools group since 2015. Pupils are organised into Pre-Prep for those aged 3 to 7, and Prep for those aged 7 to 11, with a Pre-Reception class available for 3-year-olds. The school is committed to providing a disciplined, respectful, safe and inclusive environment in which every child can flourish academically, personally and socially. It encourages pupils to develop confidence and resilience, nurturing them to become self-motivated, independent learners who show curiosity, creativity and a sense of responsibility. The school community draws from professional families with diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, most of whom live locally. The school is attentive to the needs of all its pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, those for whom English is an additional language, and those identified as the most able, ensuring that each child receives the support and challenge they need to thrive.
