About St Christophers The Hall School

St Christopher's The Hall School is a co-educational independent preparatory day school located in a residential area of Beckenham, Kent. The school is a charitable trust governed by a board of directors, and it welcomes children from the Early Years Foundation Stage — from age three — through to the end of primary school at age eleven. The school aims to provide a happy and hard-working environment where every pupil has the chance to develop their individual talents within a broad and balanced curriculum. Each child is treated as an individual and encouraged to reach high standards in whatever they do. Most pupils come from professional families living within roughly fifteen miles of the school. The school supports a range of learning needs, including pupils with special educational needs and disabilities such as dyslexia and dyspraxia, all of whom receive additional specialist help. Provision is also in place for those for whom English is an additional language, as well as for the most able pupils, with the curriculum thoughtfully adapted to meet a variety of needs.
