About Moulsford Preparatory School

Moulsford Preparatory School is a day and boarding school for boys, situated on the banks of the Thames between Streatley and Wallingford in Oxfordshire. Founded in 1961, the school is a charitable trust administered by a Board of Governors. Pupils are accommodated as weekly or flexi-boarders in one boarding house within the main school building. The school's Pre-Prep department covers the Early Years Foundation Stage, Year 1 and Year 2, while the Prep department runs from Year 3 through to Year 8. The school aims to nurture the whole child, helping each pupil to develop their individual talents and abilities, and encouraging them to be kind, motivated, resilient and supportive of one another and the wider community. Pupils come from mainly business and professional backgrounds, with the majority living within a 15-mile radius. The school provides support for a range of needs, including dyslexia, dyspraxia, speech and language needs, hearing loss, and attention deficit disorders, and it adapts and enriches the curriculum for those identified as more able.
