About Cranford School

Cranford House School Trust Limited is a co-educational independent day school in South Oxfordshire, founded in 1931 and based on its current site since 1954. The school welcomes pupils from nursery through to sixth form and is run as a charitable trust overseen by a board of governors. In recent years the school has grown to become fully co-educational and has introduced a sixth form, alongside a building programme that has brought new facilities including a nursery school and garden, a sixth form centre, and a design and technology building. The school aims to provide a dynamic education where pupils are happy, confident, and motivated, with a spirit of curiosity, resilience, and collaboration at its heart. It is committed to helping every pupil fulfil their natural potential. Pupils come from a range of cultural and economic backgrounds and mostly live within 20 miles of the school. The school supports pupils with a variety of needs, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities such as dyslexia and dyspraxia, and ensures that all pupils — whatever their starting point — have access to appropriately challenging and enriching opportunities.
