About Luckley House School

Luckley House School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 11 to 18. It originated as two separate girls' schools which merged in 1959, and first admitted boys in 2015. The school is a charitable company overseen by a board of governors, and boarders are accommodated in two houses on the main school campus. Built on Christian foundations of love and service, the school aims to help every pupil thrive in a secure and encouraging environment, equipping them to be resourceful and resilient as they face life's challenges and opportunities. Pupils come from a range of professional backgrounds, with most families living within 15 miles of the school and around a tenth coming from overseas. The school supports a wide variety of learners, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities such as dyslexia and dyspraxia, pupils for whom English is an additional language, and those with particular talents in areas such as sport, art, drama or music. The curriculum is thoughtfully adapted to meet the needs of all these individuals.
