About Laleham Lea School
Laleham Lea School is an independent Catholic co-educational day school situated in Purley. The school welcomes children from Nursery right through to Year 6, with three sections: Early Years Foundation Stage, Infants, and Juniors. Owned by the Diocese of Southwark, the school operates as an independent charitable trust with its own governing body. At the heart of the school is a commitment to creating a loving, welcoming, and safe environment where compassion and tolerance are encouraged. Staff aim to nurture each child to achieve their potential, recognising and fostering individual talents. The school also seeks to instil in pupils a strong sense of personal identity and an awareness of Gospel values, helping them to become the best person they can be. Pupils come from a wide variety of backgrounds and span a broad range of abilities. The school identifies and supports those with special educational needs and disabilities through their classroom teachers, and also adapts the curriculum for its most able pupils.
