About King's House School
King's House School is an independent day school for boys aged 3 to 13 and girls aged 3 to 4, situated across three sites close to one another on Richmond Hill. The school is organised into three departments: a nursery for children aged 3 to 4, housed in a renovated Victorian building; a junior department for pupils aged 4 to 8, accommodated in two large inter-linked Victorian buildings; and a senior department for pupils aged 8 to 13, based on the original school site. A large sports ground nearby is also used by the school. The school is a charitable trust overseen by a board of governors. The school aims to provide a supportive and safe environment where pupils' welfare is a priority, offering a broad and balanced curriculum that engages and challenges children while developing their knowledge and skills across all areas of learning. Pupils come from a range of professional and business families reflecting the local community of Richmond. The school supports pupils with a variety of special educational needs and disabilities, as well as a number of pupils for whom English is an additional language, with specialist help and tailored support available where needed. The curriculum is also adapted for the most able pupils within the school.
