Kew Green Preparatory School is a co-educational day school for children from Reception through to Year 6, situated in south-west London neighbouring the Royal Botanical Gardens. Founded in 2004, the school is owned by Gardener Schools Group Ltd and is governed by a board of four directors. The school is organised into two sections: a lower school covering Reception and Years 1 and 2, and an upper school for Years 3 to 6. The school aims to champion curiosity, creativity, confidence and collaboration across all areas of school life, while fostering tolerance, respect, and an appreciation of diversity and the importance of contributing to society. Pupils come from a range of professional and ethnic backgrounds, with many families working locally in creative industries, media, advertising and design. The school welcomes children with a variety of needs and talents, including those who require support for special educational needs, those for whom English is an additional language, and pupils with particular gifts in areas such as art, music, sport or drama. The curriculum is thoughtfully adapted to reflect this range of abilities and interests.
