Kew House is an independent co-educational day school situated in Brentford, welcoming pupils from Year 7 through to the sixth form, covering ages 11 to 18. The school is part of the Gardener Schools Group Ltd, a family-owned company founded by former teachers and overseen by an individual proprietor supported by a board of directors. The school places great importance on nurturing each pupil as an individual, welcoming students with varying academic profiles and putting confidence, self-esteem, and creativity at the heart of school life. Through a broad curriculum and involvement in the wider community, Kew House aims to help every pupil realise their potential and achieve strong academic results. The school's pupils come predominantly from West London, with a range of professional and business backgrounds represented, alongside a number of students from international backgrounds. The school provides additional support for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, including dyslexia and processing difficulties, and makes tailored adjustments to the curriculum for those identified as the most able within the school community.

During teaching hours, the use of mobile devices in school (without explicit consent and supervision from a teacher) is not permitted. Mobile devices must be switched off on the school site during normal school hours, including break and lunch times. Any pupil who needs to contact a parent during normal school hours may use the school telephone system with authorisation from a member of staff. Mobile devices may be used on the school site outside normal lesson times for communication purposes only.
