About Gresham's
Gresham's is an independent co-educational school offering both day and boarding places, with roots going back to 1555. Associated with the Worshipful Company of Fishmongers, the school is part of a charitable foundation that also encompasses a nursery, pre-prep, and prep school located nearby. Boarders are accommodated across seven boarding houses, and all day pupils are also members of a house, sharing fully in its community life. The school aims to provide a caring, challenging, and enlightened education within a Christian setting, encouraging every pupil to make the most of their talents and to become a valued member of society. Pupils come from business and professional families across East Anglia and beyond, with around a fifth joining from overseas. The school welcomes pupils with a wide range of needs and abilities, including those with special educational needs and disabilities and those for whom English is an additional language, with tailored support available for many of them.
