About Beeston Hall School

Beeston Hall School is a co-educational boarding and day school for pupils aged six to thirteen, set on a 30-acre site on the north Norfolk coast near Cromer. Founded in 1948, the school is a charitable trust overseen by a board of governors. Pupils are welcome as weekly or full boarders, housed in two boarding houses on the campus, or as day pupils. The school aims to provide a caring environment in which children's contributions are valued and encouraged, helping them to develop their abilities and become grounded young men and women ready for the future. It seeks to celebrate childhood and deliver a broad and rigorous curriculum through inspired teaching. Pupils come predominantly from professional, business and farming families, with the majority of boarders living within a 50-mile radius of the school. A pre-prep department now welcomes pupils from the age of six, extending the school's reach to younger children. Support is available for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, as well as for those for whom English is an additional language. The school also identifies academically able pupils and those with particular talents in areas such as sport and music, adjusting its curriculum and activities to support their individual needs.
