About Gosfield School

Gosfield School is an independent co-educational day school founded in 1929, run as a charitable trust overseen by a board of governors. The current principal joined the school in September 2021. At the heart of the school's ethos is a genuine commitment to knowing each child as an individual and nurturing their potential. The school aims to provide a caring, friendly, and supportive environment in which pupils are encouraged to achieve beyond expectations, with staff and pupils inspiring one another in all aspects of their educational and personal lives. Pupils come from families with a range of professional and business backgrounds, mostly from within a 40-mile radius of the school. The school is attentive to the diverse needs of its community, providing tailored support for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, those who are more able or gifted, and those with particular talents in areas such as art, drama, music, and sport.
