About Gateway School

Gateway School is a co-educational day school situated in the village of Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire. Part of the Bellevue Education Group, the school welcomes children from the age of two through to Year 6, with three distinct sections: Early Years Foundation Stage, lower prep and upper prep. Pupils come mainly from the local area and nearby towns. The school aims to provide an environment in which pupils can grow into curious, ambitious and confident learners. Alongside academic development, it places real importance on nurturing respect, courtesy, resilience and problem-solving skills, helping children feel well prepared for the wider world. The curriculum includes Spanish, current affairs and farm school sessions, offering pupils a broad and varied experience. The school supports 29 pupils with special educational needs or disabilities, who receive additional classroom support, and also supports a number of pupils for whom English is an additional language.
