About Feltonfleet School

Feltonfleet School is a day and boarding preparatory school for boys and girls aged between three and thirteen years, set in large grounds on the outskirts of Cobham. Founded in 1903 and established on its current site in 1918, the school became a charitable trust in 1966 and fully co-educational in 1994. The original Victorian building has been extended over the years to provide additional classrooms and boarding accommodation. The school is organised into four sections: a pre-prep for pupils aged three to seven, a Lower School for ages seven to nine, a Middle School for ages nine to eleven, and an Upper School for ages eleven to thirteen. The school aims to help pupils become independent learners who develop emotional intelligence, self-esteem and the confidence to take learning risks, guided by the values of kindness, honesty, respect and responsibility. Pupils come from a range of professional backgrounds, mostly from White British families living in the surrounding area. The school supports pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, as well as those for whom English is an additional language, and provides extension activities and additional learning opportunities for its more able pupils.
