About Durston House School

Durston House School is an independent day school for boys, founded in 1886 and situated across three separate but neighbouring sites in Ealing. The school is divided into a pre-prep for boys aged 4 to 7, a junior school for those aged 7 to 9, and a middle and upper school for pupils aged 9 to 13, all overseen by a governing body. The school aims to offer an education that is both varied and well-rounded, supporting each boy in reaching his potential across academic, creative and physical pursuits, whilst also nurturing his social, moral and spiritual development. At the heart of the school is a warm and caring environment where the happiness and security of every pupil are a priority. Most pupils come from local families, and the school works to meet a range of individual needs, providing specialist support for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, as well as additional help for those for whom English is an additional language. The curriculum is also adapted for pupils identified as particularly able or talented across a range of subjects and activities.
