About Clifton Lodge School
Clifton Lodge School is an independent co-educational day school situated in Ealing, founded in 1979. It originally welcomed boys only before becoming co-educational in 2012, and has been part of Cognita Schools Ltd since 2008. The school covers three stages: the Early Years Foundation Stage for children aged 3 to 5, pre-prep for pupils aged 5 to 7, and prep for pupils aged 7 to 11. The school aims to nurture pupils who love learning and approach challenges with curiosity and a growth mindset. It seeks to develop character by helping pupils understand their strengths, work on areas for development, and put the school's core virtues into practice. Most pupils come from local families with professional and business backgrounds. The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, pupils for whom English is an additional language, and those identified as particularly able or talented in areas such as art, music and drama, with the curriculum adapted accordingly.
