About Avenue House School
Avenue House School is an independent, co-educational day school for pupils aged four to eleven, situated in a residential area of West Ealing, London. Founded in 1995, the school is organised into two departments: Reception, which follows the Early Years Foundation Stage, and a junior department covering Years 1 to 6. The school aims to provide a safe, secure and happy environment where children are encouraged to develop a lifelong love of learning. It seeks to promote academic achievement alongside self-confidence, mindfulness, and a sense of responsibility, guided by respect for oneself and others, resilience, and an appreciation of different cultures. The school endeavours to ensure that every pupil can aspire to reach their potential and flourish. Pupils come from the local area and bring with them a range of social, cultural and economic backgrounds. The school supports pupils with a variety of additional needs, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, those for whom English is an additional language, and those identified as the most able, with the curriculum adapted accordingly.
