About Claremont Fan Court School

Claremont Fan Court School is an independent day school welcoming boys and girls from the age of two and a half through to eighteen. Founded through the coming together of two separate schools — Claremont, established in 1920, and Fan Court — the school has been operating on its present site since 1978. It is a registered charity governed by a board of governors. The school is non-denominational and, while it supports Christian values, it warmly welcomes pupils from all faiths and none. The school is organised into three sections: a pre-preparatory covering the Early Years Foundation Stage and Years 1 and 2, a preparatory school for Years 3 to 6, and a senior school for Years 7 to 13. Claremont Fan Court draws pupils from a wide area across the south and west of London and the surrounding counties, reflecting a broad range of social and ethnic backgrounds. The school aims to offer a breadth of educational, cultural, social, and sporting opportunities, nurturing the individual talents and abilities of every pupil within a safe, stimulating, and caring environment. Provision is made for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, for those with English as an additional language, and for those who are highly able or possess a particular talent.
