About Brockwood Park School
Brockwood Park School was established in 1969 and sits alongside Inwoods Small School on the Brockwood Park site. Brockwood Park is a co-educational boarding school for pupils aged 14 to 19, with separate boarding accommodation for male and female pupils. Inwoods Small School, which opened in 1998, is a co-educational day school welcoming children aged 4 to 11, including a mixed early years class. Both schools are governed by the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust Limited, a charitable company overseen by a group of trustees. Both schools are guided by the philosophy of Krishnamurti, aiming to educate the whole person and to encourage freedom, responsibility, and selflessness. Pupils are supported in discovering their own talents, whilst developing a healthy relationship with the natural world and an appreciation of order and stillness. Pupils at Inwoods Small School come from local families, whilst Brockwood Park draws its boarding pupils from many parts of the world, bringing together a wide range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. A number of pupils have identified special educational needs and/or disabilities, and those for whom English is an additional language receive support from their teachers.
