About Windrush Valley School
Windrush Valley is an independent coeducational day school founded in 1951, situated in the village of Ascott-Under-Wychwood, near Chipping Norton in West Oxfordshire. The school is owned by Ingenio Education and is governed by the proprietor alongside a small advisory board. The school aims to develop pupils who are innovative, creative and adaptable, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Children are encouraged and challenged to achieve high standards of academic success, personal development, and independence of thought and spirit, within a culture of personal responsibility and care for others. Most pupils live within ten miles of the school. The school supports pupils with a range of needs, including those identified as having special educational needs and/or disabilities, as well as those who are more able, with the curriculum adapted accordingly.
