About West Hill Park School
West Hill Park School is a co-educational independent day and boarding school, founded in 1920 and overseen by a board of governors. It welcomes children from the Early Years Foundation Stage, starting at age three, through to the end of prep school at age thirteen. Boarding is available on a weekly or flexi basis, with separate accommodation for boys and girls within the main school building. The school aims to inspire a genuine love of learning in every child, within a caring, safe and supportive community built on mutual respect. Alongside the curriculum, it focuses on developing pupils' learning skills to help them excel and prepare for their future. Ambition, kindness and resilience are at the heart of the school's approach to character and emotional development. Most pupils come from the local area, with a small number of boarders joining from overseas. The school is committed to meeting a range of learning needs, providing specialist support for pupils with SEND as well as additional help for those who speak English as an additional language. The curriculum is also adapted for pupils who show particular ability or talent in a given area.
