About Wellingborough School
Wellingborough School is a co-educational day school situated near the centre of the market town of Wellingborough. Founded in 1595, the school is a charitable trust administered by a board of governors. It comprises a preparatory section for pupils from the EYFS through to Year 6, and a senior school for pupils in Years 7 to 13. The school aims to create a warm, supportive and challenging environment that promotes the health and happiness of every child. It seeks to encourage pupils to discover their potential and to decide who they want to be, equipping them with the skills to tackle the next stage of their lives with confidence. Pupils come from families with a range of professional, business and farming backgrounds, living within a 25-mile radius of the school. The school supports pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, those for whom English is an additional language, and those identified as more able or as having special talents in sport, music and drama.
