About Wellesley Prep School
Daneshill School is a preparatory school welcoming pupils between the ages of 3 and 13. Founded in 1950 under the name of St. Salvator's, the school moved to its current site near the village of Stratfield Turgis in Hampshire in 1979, and has continued to grow and develop ever since. The school aims to provide a secure, happy and stimulating environment where children can learn to be tolerant, courteous and caring. It seeks to make learning enjoyable through a broad curriculum, helping children to discover their talents and potential, while fostering self-esteem, an enquiring mind, kindness and high aspirations. Pupils come predominantly from professional and business families living within a 20-mile radius of the school. The school supports those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, and also identifies academically more able pupils and those with particular talents in areas such as sport and music, adjusting its curriculum and providing additional activities to meet their needs.
