About Wandsworth Preparatory School
Wandsworth Preparatory School is an independent co-educational day school for children aged 4 to 11, owned by Bellevue Education International Ltd and governed through a range of specialist committees. The school opened in 2012 with a single Reception class and has grown steadily each year to welcome pupils across the full age range. The school has a head leading each phase of learning. The school aims to ignite a passion for learning through attentive teaching in small groups, recognising and encouraging each child's individual personality, talents and gifts. It works to help pupils reach their potential both inside and outside the classroom, and to leave as happy, confident and kind individuals who are well prepared for the next stage of their education. Pupils come from a range of professional, cultural and ethnic backgrounds in the local area. The school supports children with a variety of needs, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, those for whom English is an additional language, and those with particular talents in areas such as art, sport and music, adapting the curriculum accordingly.
