About The Webber Independent School
The Webber Independent School is a co-educational day school welcoming pupils from the age of 4 to 16, situated in Milton Keynes. The school has been part of the GEMS (Global Education Management Systems) group since September 2003, with the directors based at their United Kingdom office in London overseeing proprietorial responsibilities, including governance, financial management, and support for the school. The school aims to provide an exciting, challenging and enriching education that inspires pupils to achieve the highest possible standards of academic progress and emotional well-being. It seeks to nurture individual talents within an atmosphere where respect and empathy are promoted, helping pupils to become ambitious, confident and successful global citizens. Pupils come from a range of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds from across Milton Keynes, with most living within a 10-mile radius of the school. Approximately 12 per cent of pupils come from families who have moved to the UK from other countries. The school supports 21 pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, and provides additional language support for 11 pupils through their classroom teachers.
