About St Peter and St Paul School
St Peter & St Paul School is an independent co-educational day school welcoming pupils aged four to eleven. Founded in 1944, the school moved to its present seven-acre site in 1997 and is run as a charitable trust governed by a board of trustees. The school is organised into two sections: a pre-preparatory section covering the Early Years Foundation Stage, Year 1 and Year 2, and a preparatory section covering Years 3 to 6. The school is guided by Christian principles and a set of core values, and it aims to offer a traditional, all-round education with an engaging approach to learning — providing children with a framework they can carry with them throughout their lives. In recent years, the school has created two new libraries, dedicated teaching spaces for music and modern foreign languages, and upgraded its technology provision across both sections. Pupils come from a range of professional backgrounds, mostly from families living within a 15-mile radius of the school. The school provides additional support for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, including dyslexia and dyspraxia, as well as for those with particular talents in sport and for its most able pupils, ensuring the curriculum works for every child.
