About Spratton Hall

Spratton Hall School is an independent day school for boys and girls aged between 4 and 13 years, set up as a charitable trust and administered by a governing body. The school was founded in 1951 and became co-educational in 1975. Pupils in the pre-preparatory department are aged 4 to 7, while those in the junior and senior departments range from 8 to 13 years. The school has invested in its facilities in recent years, completing a full programme of refurbishment and creating a performing arts centre. ICT provision has also been extended to include a new digital learning platform, and tablet devices are provided for pupils in Years 6 to 8. The school aims to provide a challenging yet caring and supportive environment in which every pupil can develop their personality, talents, and mental and physical abilities. Pupils come from a range of professional backgrounds and mostly live within a 20-mile radius of the school. Support is available for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, and the curriculum is also adapted for those who show particular talents across academic, sporting, and musical disciplines.
