About Oakhyrst Grange School
Oakhyrst Grange School is an independent co-educational day school welcoming boys and girls aged 3 to 11. Founded in 1950, the school moved to its current home in 1957 and is a registered charity governed by a dedicated governing body. It is organised into three departments, covering the Early Years Foundation Stage, Years 1 and 2, and Years 3 to 6. The school is committed to creating a family atmosphere that is both supportive and enjoyable. Pupils are encouraged to make the most of their individual talents through a broad curriculum, with opportunities to take part in a wide range of sporting, dramatic, artistic, and musical activities. The school works to ensure every child is supported and stretched according to their needs. Pupils identified as having special educational needs and/or disabilities receive tailored support, whether individually, in small groups, or within the classroom. Those who show particular ability or talent in sport and the creative arts are given opportunities to develop their skills further through enrichment activities, clubs, and competitions.
