About Manor House School
Manor House is a selective independent day school for girls aged 2 to 16, set on a 17-acre site on the outskirts of Leatherhead. Founded in 1920, the school moved to its current home in 1937 and has close links with the Church of England. It is a registered charity, governed by a board. The school is organised into three sections: Early Years Foundation Stage, which includes Nursery, Kindergarten and Reception; the Prep School, covering Years 1 to 6; and the Senior School, for Years 7 to 11. Boys are also welcome in the Early Years. The school aims to be a caring and nurturing environment where pupils develop a love of learning and grow into confident, creative and resourceful individuals. Pupils come from a range of professional and business backgrounds, mostly from families living within a 15-mile radius of the school. The school is committed to supporting every pupil, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, those who speak English as an additional language, and those with particular talents in sport and the performing arts.
