About Lockers Park School

Lockers Park School is an independent day and boarding school for boys aged 4 to 13 and girls aged 4 to 7, set on a 23-acre site in Hemel Hempstead. Founded in 1874, the school is a charitable trust overseen by a board of governors. Its boarding accommodation and some teaching rooms are housed in a listed Victorian building, alongside a more recently built pre-prep facility. The school aims to help every child grow into a confident, high-achieving individual with strong values of respect, honesty, and a curiosity to learn. It offers day and boarding places, with a number of full, weekly, and occasional boarders, and works closely with parents, senior schools, and the wider community to nurture a genuine enthusiasm for learning and life. Most pupils come from professional and business families living within 30 miles of the school, with some boarders joining from further afield. The school supports pupils with English as an additional language, those who benefit from additional English support, and a small number of pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
