About Greenfield School

Greenfield School is a co-educational day school founded in 1935, set in a rural location it has called home since 2019. The school is a charitable foundation overseen by a board of governors, and in recent years has undertaken building projects to support its performance, recitals, and sports facilities. Greenfield Little School, its early years setting, opened in January 2021 and welcomes children from the age of six months. The school works in partnership with families to inspire and motivate children, helping them to achieve their academic potential and develop wider skills. It fosters a culture of inclusion while pursuing excellence across all areas of school life, so that pupils grow into kind and empathetic young people with a strong sense of their place in the world. Most pupils come from professional and business families living within 10 miles of the school. The school supports 50 pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, all of whom receive additional support, and provides extra in-class help for some of its pupils for whom English is an additional language. The school also recognises and nurtures those with particular academic ability or talent in sport, music, and drama.
