About Dover College

Dover College is a co-educational independent day and boarding school for pupils aged between 3 and 18 years. It is a registered charity, managed by trustees who form the governing body, supported by a smaller body known as The Council. The school is also a proud member of the Round Square international organisation of schools, embracing its values of international understanding, democracy, environmental stewardship, adventure, leadership and service. The preparatory school, which includes the Early Years Foundation Stage, sits within the senior school site. For those who board, the school offers two male and two female single-sex boarding houses, welcoming pupils aged between 11 and 18 years. The school draws pupils from a range of countries and family backgrounds, reflecting the heritage of the local area. It aims to be a place where confidence is nurtured, inquisitiveness is encouraged, and individuality is celebrated, empowering every pupil to achieve to the very best of their ability within a friendly, supportive, and diverse community. Support is available for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, and for those who speak English as an additional language, ensuring that all pupils are helped to thrive.
