About Bromley High School

Bromley High School is an independent day school for girls, situated at its current location since 1981, having first opened in central Bromley in 1883. The school is part of the Girls' Day School Trust, a registered charity governed by a council of trustees, and also has a local governing body. It welcomes pupils across Early Years, junior school, senior school and sixth form. The school aims to foster a love of learning that enables pupils to fulfil their intellectual potential, encouraging them to grow into committed, composed, confident and courageous adults who can fulfil their responsibilities to a wider world and achieve success on their own terms. Most pupils come from professional families predominantly living in south London and neighbouring counties. The school supports pupils with a range of special educational needs and/or disabilities, as well as those for whom English is an additional language, ensuring every pupil has the opportunity to thrive. More able pupils also benefit from a modified curriculum and extended opportunities.
