About Brabyns Preparatory School
Brabyns Preparatory School is an independent day school for boys and girls aged 2 to 11, located in Marple on the Cheshire and Derbyshire border. Founded in 1899, the school is part of the Bellevue Education Group and occupies two buildings on a one-acre site in a suburban setting. It offers both a Nursery and a Primary school. The school aims to nurture, engage and enable every pupil to achieve their best, fostering a warm, safe, family atmosphere in small class groups. It seeks to help children develop their individual talents, become excellent citizens, and develop a clear sense of right and wrong. Pupils come from a range of professional and business family backgrounds, largely from the local area and nearby towns and villages. The school supports pupils with a variety of needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, and makes adjustments to the curriculum for its most able pupils, ensuring every child is well catered for.
