About Beachborough School

Beachborough School is an independent day and boarding school for boys and girls aged from two and a half to thirteen years. Founded in 1910, the school moved to its current site in 1943 and is run as a charitable trust administered by a governing body. The school is organised into two sections: Pre-Prep and Juniors for children aged two and a half to ten, and Prep for those aged ten to thirteen. Boarding is available from Year 3. The school aims for every pupil to be happy and to thrive intellectually, physically, culturally and emotionally, leaving fully prepared for senior school. It strives to foster a respectful and caring atmosphere with a genuine family feel. Support is in place for the thirty-eight pupils identified as having special educational needs and/or disabilities, and the curriculum is also adapted for those identified as more able or as having particular talents. Most pupils come from the local area, typically from professional and business families.
