About Bassett House School
Bassett House School is an independent co-educational day school for pupils aged three to eleven, located in North Kensington. Founded in 1947, it continues to be owned and administered by the founder's family as one of three schools in the House Schools Group. The school aims to help all pupils reach their potential through supportive teaching and a broad-based curriculum that includes extra-curricular activities. It places value on teamwork, cooperation, creative and independent thinking, and the development of moral values, while fostering close relationships between school and home. Pupils come from a variety of countries and professional and business backgrounds, and many live within a three-mile radius of the school. The school supports pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, as well as those for whom English is an additional language, ensuring that every child receives the help they need. The curriculum is also adapted for pupils identified as more able, with extra-curricular activities and events available for those with particular talents.
